“Hey,” Imogen greeted, attention directed to the gorgeous blonde down the bar. “Wanna dance?” It wans’t like her to be quite so forward with someone she’d just laid eyes on for the first time mere moments before, but she was celebrating. By some miracle, she’d managed to land the internship of her dreams, and honestly, she felt like she could do no wrong. She was sure the feeling wouldn’t last any longer than the mellow buzz the fruity drinks had created, but at the moment she didn’t particularly care.

“Sorry, sorry.” Jesse replied with an innocent smile. He told his kids to also apologize. He knew that Juliet was a very light sleeper for a baby. Anything can wake her up. They played a few more rounds of the game, quietly, and he sent the other two kids to bed. He approached  Beth with a Grin. “Can we make some noise though?” He said with a wink. 

Of course she loved Valentine’s day. She loved the cheesiness, the romance. The flowers and the candies, but this year she wasn’t as excited or looking forward to it as usual.
