I don't have time to record a video right now, but I was tagged by the wonderful happy-healthy-soul to answer these seven questions, so here goes:
1. Name three things in your life that make you feel happy and positive
My pets, my good friends, and good food
2. What do you do to try and be more positive?
I spend time at my favorite fraternity (my happy place) or with good friends or just being by myself for awhile. I listen to good, upbeat music, and remind myself that everything is temporary and that happiness really is a choice. I try to start every day with a positive view on things and try to shake bad things off as much as I can
3.What do you like to do to relax?
I spend time alone watching TV or reading a good book. Sometimes I just listen to music and blog. Sometimes I play video games. Sometimes I go to Sigma Pi and play beer pong (honestly). Sometimes I drink a glass of wine. Sometimes I take a shower.
4. What is your favourite quote?
"Not all those who wander are lost." (by Tolkien)... I think it highlights both a sense of wanderlust that I have (I always want to travel and go new places) as well as a sense that it's okay to still be figuring things out and to change things around in your life at any time. It also doesn't hurt that it comes from one of my favorite authors.
5. Everybody has a part of their body that they dislike. Say something positive about yours
I don't always like my butt, but it's starting to get more perky after weightlifting and it's for sure stronger and curvier now as well and it's just gonna keep getting better as far as I'm concerned.
6. Who are your positive role models?
My big sister. Emma Watson. JK Rowling. Jennifer Lawrence. Natalie Dormer.
