Homework or the Boston Marathon??
All I want to do is go run. I have a paper to do before I go jump into the Boston Marathon, and my focus is at a zero... obviously, I'm on tumblr. Anyway... I am pumped full of caffeine, with two espresso Gu's still in my pocket to consume (coffee) and I am all amped up. It's time to run. The marathon starts at 10, 10:20, and 10:40 (Waves). The person I will jump in with starts at 10:40. I will be jumping in at mile 16, just in time to do all of the hills, mostly so I can lead her up Heart Break Hill and take her through the finish. It's going to be a warm day, but it sure is beautiful looking out the Starbucks window. This is the time to support the marathoners. It is HOT. They will be miserable, but hopefully inspired and inspirational. It teaches us something about the human spirit. Thousands of people will be along the course cheering, inspiring the runners, and hopefully being inspired by the runners. The Boston Marathon is an event to be cherished. Let's celebrate.
Now I must do my homework for real. Just had to get that out.
