Got a very early morning run and leg day workout in this morning not too bad at all. Think itβs time to increase my step goal on Fitbit tho lol! Stay positive my friends!
Thought I'd edit this and say what I did today: 20 minute walk/run to warm up 15minute stationary bike at level 8 (whatever that means) 3x10 squats with 45lb barbell 3x10 leg press and calf press with 283lbstotal 3x10 each leg of box step up with body weight
The Race Pics from Rugged Maniac finally came in!! There weren't many of me... that's what you get when you run next to an absolutely gorgeous woman!! The run was pretty fun. It was rougher than Warrior Dash and had a few higher obstacles to get over, but wasn't quite Spartan or Tough Mudder. I'm glad we went early and had VIP tickets (I highly suggest those.. they are worth every penny.) The run ended up getting real backed up in the afternoon and then canceled due to weather. However, Rugged is a top notch group and is taking care of everyone. This is defiantly a run to try!!!

A couple gifs from week 4 day 1 of my C25K workout to train for the Rugged Maniac it was by far the hardest workout I've ever had to do and to be completely transparent I had to pause the workout twice to take a breath and one was after the second 3 minute run and second was in the middle of the second 5 minute run, but with that being said, I ran 5 minutes non-stop for the first time! It's the little victories! Here's to the start of a new week!
It's been a few days since I have posted on here and just wanted to show you guys what I've been up to. Just working hard on achieving my goals and sweating a hell of a lot in the process but it needs to be done! You want something bad enough you push for it! Eating healthier working out hard no soda no fast food it's little things that make a difference! If I can do it you can do it too!
Went to the gym last night and did my second workout to train for the 5k in May and that shit hurt but I got it done! πͺπΌππΌ then on top of that I had my first day of just working on legs since I was in high school and I always thought my legs were pretty powerful but I couldn't do shit but it's like starting all over again which is what I'm doing and even tho I could only squat the bar that's fine I'll get better. Even tho I could do minimal assisted lunges that's fine I'll get better. Even tho I couldn't do 8 plates with a leg press anymore that's fine I'll get better. But you know what's even better... I tried! And I'm so proud of myself for the little victories! πͺπΌππΌ
