The goddess gave a small smile as the two approached her- the strange, shadowy being, and Chrom's tactician. She had seen them both around camp, quite often, but never truly spoke to them. They both had proven themselves to be both useful, and not particularly threatening- just what she liked, to be honest.

   Weeks earlier, Morgan had managed to break away from the others and set off on his own to find his mother. Everyone else was enjoying the peace that had come after Grima's defeat, but Morgan was having a hard time coping. What had kept him moving upon arriving here was always his mother; her goals had become his and her friends had welcomed him for who he was to her. Life was empty without her and he had set out to remedy that.

   There were natural dangers that presented themselves to the young boy, but he could handle the occasional bear or two. But when brigands began harassing him, it got a bit harder to stand his own. Morgan had suspicions that his mother might be in this area, but there were brigands crawling about everywhere. They knew he was in the area and they knew he was good for ransom.

Once he had gotten caught, Morgan had worked really hard to fight them all off. He was so worn out that his little legs just couldn't keep up any more. With a heavy sigh, he fell over in the tall grass and laid there for a moment, looking up into the sky. "This is... taking a long time... Aunt Lissa made it sound so easy. 'We just walked up on her' she said... ugh..." he sniffled, holding back his distress.
