Hello All, I am currently a sophomore at Rutgers University majoring in Supply Chain Management and minoring in Economics. I am also part of a fraternity called Alpha Delta Phi and every year we partner with the Embrace Kids Foundation at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital to foster a kid with a life threatening disease. These past two years, we have had the pleasure of being paired with a boy named Michael who has been diagnosed with leukemia, Now, every so often the brothers of ADPhi visits him in the hospital during treatments or we hang out with him outside of the hospital and go bowling (it's his favorite!). Now, every year Rutgers holds a Dance Marathon which is the biggest fundraiser Greek life is able to participate in. The brothers of Alpha Delta Phi dance every year for Michael and the other kids who are part of the Embrace Kids Foundation. In order to dance, each dancer has to raise a minimum of $350. I am currently at $230 and the money is due on March 7th. I am writing to all of you asking for your support and generous donation. Any amount would help those in need significantly.

Hi! I'm Molly, I'm 20 and I am a junior at Rutgers, New Brunswick. I'm a sister of Sigma Kappa and I'm raising money to participate in Dance Marathon at my school. Dance Marathon is an event to fundraise an organization called Embrace Kids Foundation, which assists families of children with cancer and blood disorders. The event brings together the Rutgers community to dance and be on their feet for 2 12-hour sessions! I've chosen to dance this year and need your help to reach my goal of $400 for the kids! Rutgers University Dance Marathon is a huge event that donates money to the non-medical needs of local children with cancer and blood disorders. There are a lot of participants and people who make that happen, and this year I am one of them! As a dancer, I am expected to raise at least $350 and I am very far from that goal.
I have seen the generosity of Tumblr and a lot of my followers are just awesome people. So I am asking you all to please consider donating to my fund. Feel free to donate as much or as little as you can. The holidays are steadily approaching and a lot of us spend a lot of money this time of year, but this is something that I would greatly appreciate.

Hello, followers/friends!
Apologies for deviating away from my usual posts as I've never done this before! I decided to contribute to Rutgers Dance Marathon this year…at 1 in the morning, and I was hoping if you’d spare a dollar or so to the cause or spread the link about this event.
Essentially, this is the BIGGEST fundraising event at Rutgers and all the proceeds go to Embrace Kids Foundation (embracekids.org), which is a non-profit organization that aims at improving the quality of life for children who have cancer or other blood disorders in the NJ area. They provide counseling, support, and other services that help the families at no cost.
Last year, Rutgers raised a half of million dollars for this foundation!
As a participant, I am required to raise at least $350 by March 14 to actually be eligible for the ‘Dance Marathon’ event itself. The event consists of ‘dancing’ for 32 hours and also hanging out with our sponsor child. I’m not too focused on getting a spot in the Dance Marathon as I’d like to see how much I money I can raise through the internet and other connections!
I found that I developed quite a few connections through blogging and traveling, so I’m hoping that the international reach can help
