Bofaz script
Continuing on from Letae script, I'm going to explore the Bofaz script today. Â The Bofaz script is widely used throughout Orastim because of its adaptability. Â It originated with the Malalir for their language, Rudenz. Â It is an abugida system of symbols, meaning that it uses base consonant graphemes that are modified to produce vowel combinations after or before the consonant sound, as shown below. Â The charts below give a list of consonant vowel modifiers, as well as the full list of consonants and their normal vowel modifier- i.e. a vowel sound after the consonant sound. Â NOTE: These are the block forms of the Bofaz script, rather than the script form. Â Also, I've included the most common numeral system used in Orastim below the block list, that which also originated from the Malalir. Â The Bofaz script is the predominant writing system in the Malalir kingdoms, Noffian territories, Cimi and often used in Darknor and Rouns. Â I'll take you through an example to illustrate how to use the charts. Â The Rudenz word for yes, kagi, is as follows: lookup 'ka' and then lookup 'gi'. Â That's it! Â How about it, only two symbols used. Â Anyway, 'till next time. [important]Hope you can read the list well enough. Â If you can't, just click on them for a bigger version![/important] [five-star-rating]
