“…How did I feel?” Yes, that was a good question. Although it’s been some days since that dreadful night, Ruby couldn’t yet consider it in the past. It was too surreal, almost as if everything was dream, a nightmare that she was yet to wake up. 

“It was …like all the sounds in the world did not exist anymore, just a silence, and somehow the distance was shortened. For a moment, it felt like there was no strength anymore, to walk, run, or fight. I still see those bright and shiny eyes, but …there was light no more.” a small sniff escaped the young hooded girl before looking away for a moment. “…And then, it was like there was nothing left, but speed and anger…”

If she were still around, what would you say to her? If you could go back in time, do you think that you would play out your friendship differently?

“If she were still around I would…let Penny…” Ruby took a deep breath before wiping away a small traitor teardrop that almost fell. She raised her head, “If I could go back time, I would’ve done it better, give everything in my power to save her. Because Penny was a real and true friend, with one of the most pure hearts and souls, and all of us are lucky to have her around. I’ll tell her that too…” 

Silver eyes, and a sweet voice started off looking and sounding very solemn, but as the words kept going, Ruby found herself feeling fragile again, her mind still not settling in the past with the present…There were still many things to do, many more adventures. Penny was innocent and discovering the world, and yet this whole evil plan took her away. What for?
