and now on the official Frankenstein Day we have the boys' big episode! 2x12 gifs will be broken into a few posts today since there's so many. here's part 1! (a little out of order lol) we finally see Chad as Gerhardt and find out what happened to make him into the monster. and why Victor is the way he is. he may have gone about things the wrong way, but he did it to genuinely try to save his brother. some have commented he ordered Gerhardt to kill their father but as we've seen Gerhardt have some recognition, I think he was just trying to be a good brother and protect Victor from the cruelness the guy always gave. I've bugged both David & Chad endlessly on this episode and Chad has agreed to that, as well as being a long-known fan of David's (back to Alias days) and shipping frankenwolf lol. and David's just as big a fan of his. for the record: Chad wants to be an uncle to frankenwolf babies and has also liked my s7 Hyperion Heights AU idea of giving Gerhardt the name Hartley Stone. he also said in interviews that he was going to have more episodes but they were cut short when Meghan & David left. but we've been pulling for all 3 to have a reunion somehow! I also find it interesting David's said he got in trouble for using an accent. I understand if writers maybe didn't want it, as he's had several other characters with accents, but it does completely make sense for Victor to have one. 1: as David said Rumple has several voices depending which world it is, & 2: they're from a different country. in my opinion his accent wasn't strictly as British as he could be, more just royalty ya know? anyway I love it all. as for Ruby in this one ooo! Snow was so sure she'd find him. I think not only could she smell the alcohol but she knew his scent too. we've seen little glimpses or lines to show they've begun a bond offscreen that we didn't see, as proven in my previous posts lol. I also have an entire theory of how she was the wolf by the Storybrooke sign (she proves even with the curse in 1x15 she still had wolf hearing) in which we later learn Victor has a house in the woods. and c'mon, they were all stuck there 28yrs, he would've been in the diner all the time. despite his flirting it was clear Victor had eyes for Ruby and no matter what happened later I fully believe they had a relationship and she'd eventually help him find Gerhardt. and as we see they really understood each other. and love the subtle glances between them gahh!
