#ruby the bearhog

I am curious though - what's it like when Ruby is born? Does she come on adventures too, or have you kind of settled down in a way by that time?

Guava: "Ooh, that's a fun story! Ruby was actually born and raised on the road! Fang was so much help with that. His experience in life has given him a lot of wisdom that I've been able to rely on. We all helped raise her as we traveled, so she grew up wild! Alongside us being her parents, of course, Fang became her grandpa, and Bean is the coolest uncle ever to her, hehe!"

Bark: 'It makes us proud to see how she's grown. We discussed settling down, but... The freedom of the open road, the life we have now... It's perfect. And Ruby has grown to be the toughest Hooligan any of us know. I can't imagine going on adventures without her now.'

What better way to brighten my own day than drawing my daughter? This is the first time I've fully drawn her in a year, and I think it was well past due! It's nice finally seeing her in my current style... I missed my Ruby <3

I'm Emu/Wolf, but you can call me Guava here! This is my blog for selfshipping with Bark the Polar Bear from the Sonic franchise. I specifically reference the versions of Bark from Sonic Fighters and the IDW comics when I draw or talk about him! We've been together since April 13, 2025.

Some info for you:

My sona is Guava Slice the Hedgehog! She's a short, hot pink hedgehog with green eyes and a black hooded bodysuit and branded sneakers. She, like me, is 23 and uses she/they pronouns! On this blog, I will speak as Guava. Guava uses both verbal speech and ASL to communicate.

Bark the Polar Bear is my husband! He is autistic and non-verbal, shy, and enjoys cooking. He's a tall, bottom-heavy, pale yellow polar bear with brown eyes, a white patch of fur on his chest, and a scarf and beanie with matching brown gloves and shoes. He is 25 and uses he/him pronouns! Bark uses ASL to communicate.

We have a daughter together named Ruby the Bearhog! Feel free to ask about her! She grows to be between our heights, coral in color, with green eyes, bear-like features, and hedgehog quills alongside a sporty outfit with gloves and boots like her dad's. She uses both ASL and verbal speech to communicate. Ruby's age may change depending on the post and what time period it's referencing.
