🌹TES Gala 2026 Ruby the Warrior🌹
I am seriously so normal about Ruby, it's not even funny. This is her fit for the TES Gala, representing a Warrior. At first I had a vision for a shield that is peppered with arrows as a part of a costume, and then the rest of the pieces came into place. As always, her primary color is red and I got really inspired by a combination of armor and ruffles on ruffles of fabric, because my lady loves a voluminous dress, so she ended up looking like an upside down rose. Which, in turn got me thinking about sharp elements of rose's thorns and it was incredibly fun to draw, but not only that, looking at Warrior constellation I was amazed just how many stars it includes, compared to, say a Lady that has what, like 4 stars? Soooooo…. Thorns symbolically represent sharp edges of stars as well. The thorn armor bra with rose petals ruffle, my beloved…. plus thigh-high armor boots, I can't help it I just find it incredibly sexy! Also what I've learned is that I need to draw a morgenstern more often it's such a fun to draw weapon! (and no better fit for a constellation theme as well).
💀Lady Yfaraza, the Apprentice💀
It was a challenge to think about the Apprentice outfit for Yfaraza, considering her arrogance and the "I know better" attitude towards the concept of being an apprentice to anyone. She views herself as her own boss and won't dirty her hands by labor that she can make someone else to do for her. That's why it only reflected in her clothing in a form of a stylized asymmetrical apron, protective gear like gloves and boots as well as a headscarf that moves her hair out of the face + a peacock quill with which she's ready to write down new knowledge she obtained.
Of course, her trusted helpers are there to serve her, fixing the ribbons of apron like bluebirds dressing Cinderella up for a day of work. A headscarf is a nod to Cinderella too, I guess, a hardworking princess that knows what she wants with little friends to help her on the way.
💕Chrome the Lover💕
Chrome, you my sweet fashion icon. Initially it was a warmup sketch but when will I ever miss the opportunity to color everything pink? The idea for Lover is pretty basic, flowing fabrics and flowers, ribbons that are woven into the outfit like the web and a chain around her neck to represent the restrictive qualities that love can bestow on one. The color green is a nod to a Paralyze spell, a Lover's Kiss daily ability.
