'Black cats are unlucky' is quite the infamous superstition, no?

What if the unlucky black cat had been chased away, running and running, hiding- and, much to his misfortune, Finding an anomalous door that lead to the bar of a school for the abnormal on a day it was closed. At least the bartender was nice. ..Maybe he'll back. Often.

He misses it when he can't seem to find his way back to the place after acquiring his stigma, being taken to darkwick.

Thankfully, this world is a very small place, and he will soon recognize a familiar face.

..And then learn that inspector was said familiar face's friend. Hm. He didn't know, so surely she could find it in her heart to forgive her favourite kohai loyal customer..?

Here's my insight/thoughts on Leo, from me and auburn's dms :) ;

"i gotta admit i'm curious about leo though, his stigma and everything he does is surrounded by a Curiosity and Envy/Jealousy, why would someone make a deal/want to acquiare a Stigma like this? Was it that he heard how someone talked about him in the past? Black cats are always rumored to be Unlucky, and isn't that his signature animal? Just who is he trying to prove wrong? He seems hellbent on hating people who were "given it easy" or "didn't earn" things through 'hard work', that's a very specific character trait. Just what is going on his head, i wonder, for this bastard to act so apathic and perform all the time

black cats are rumored to be unlucky, i wonder what his deal is, this guy who always wants to know what people are thinking but does not want to be known in a way that'd matter (to him).

i think his hate for people who were "given everything easy" instead of "earning it" is tied in with the paranoia, the '(unlucky) black cat' thing he has going on is just such an obvious tell on his psyche

its canon that he can be called a "demon" and not care, i think, from what vio told me

and i just know that he's a stray cat that made his cage of emotional walls too high to climb

he's envious and paranoid, has no problems using others to get his way (i wonder if this is simply 'how it always has been') he's jaded and apathic as hell, he has no stable friendships with no ulterior motives, he can't believe that people are/can be simply who they are without alterior motives or that those who were born into lucky (prestigious) families had to have it easy

its like he has always been lonely and just leaned into it and tried to grow into something people wouldn't want to see something behind, because they never had anything good to say before anyway, crafty out of obligation, cut throat out of habit, apathy a learnt behaviour ."
