Nothing quite feels like spring like going outside and looking for growth and buds swelling in April and May, to me anyways.
Some early spring pictures. The first is a young honeysuckle and the second is a one year old apple seedling. Both in pots and set to become bonsai in the future after they grow a good while.
Third is an OLD (as in, it's been her from the very first year we moved in and the past owner had no clue how long it's been there) patch of rubarb that is super strong. I take a few stalks off and make a strawberry pie with it most years, but other than that grow it for just how big and beautiful the leaves get.
Gotta get done with the whole yard clean up. In a few weeks, the rush to repot will be happening considering how much movement I am seeing on a lot of my bonsai! After that, sowing some seeds for veggies and summer flowers.
