So these were pictures I took screenshots of and saved from the “3-D Animation: Just the Tips” panel at RTX Austin 2018 and it’s something I previously mentioned in my production analysis post for chapter 1 of volume 6. The panelists were Dustin Matthews, Kim Newman, Matt Drury, Nicole LaCroix and a couple of others who unfortunately I can’t recall. In these shots, Nicole provided a brief exercise of how she manifested the personalities of each member of team RWBY by the way they would all do a dab. If I remember correctly, Nicole had Ruby pose in a cutesy manner whereas Weiss did so very reluctantly. Blake stuck a dab in a stealthily and Yang expressed her pose with a sense of power and oomph.

I’ve held on to these screenshots for several months now and in the end I decided to post it here because all the streams of every Rooster Teeth Animated related panel that were on the Mixer website are gone! No one can find them anywhere outside of a few exceptions on Youtube! Note-to-self: even when another website will provide a stream of convention coverage, video capture the shit out of the footage anyway, because you’ll never know if it will otherwise be lost in the void.
