Hey friends, and happy Sunday! So I’m really glad that the weather has been so nice this weekend, because it coincides perfectly with today’s post! ⛰ Today’s Stay Home Reading Rush challenge is to take a picture of a book outside. And since there’s a mountain less than a 10 minute drive from my place, it was the perfect day to go out and take a picture! I hiked a ways off the main path to get this picture and sat around reading on a group of rocks. ⛰ This is Rib Mountain, which has been here for over 1.5 billion years! It’s made mainly of quartzite, so there a rock outcroppings all over the trails and mountain. It’s a really cool place to explore and it’s easy to feel like you’ve been taken back in time while exploring the trails. It’s a state park that is still open to the public, but there aren’t any park workers or gathering spaces open. ⛰ I also thought this book worked really well outside, especially right now. Because there is a lot we can’t predict or count on happening right now. But we do know that the sun will also rise. It’s also my current read so that helped too haha ⛰ Do you have any cool parks or nature elements where you live? ⛰ #rroutside #readingrush #stayhomereadingrush #thereadingrush #mountain #ribmountain #ribmountainstatepark (at Rock Quarry) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_Lg16dgcke/?igshid=1ts9v2uw9trvx
