she glared up at him where he had perched himself, her keyblade gripped tightly in hand. he had gotten out of reach because he knew she'd kick his teeth in for that and she hated that he knew even that of her. what a nightmare he was, and quite literally.

       "what makes you think it's okay to--- to come here and joke about something like that?!" despite being told it was nothing more than a cruel joke, her heart ached in her chest and tears stung the corners of her eyes. to tell her that merida and her mother hadn't made it out of mor'du's cave when they had gone looking for answers was. . . very much in vanitas' nature and she had fallen for it.

what reason would she have to not believe him? he had been a terror for her ever since she had been a little girl ; when all of her memories had left her upon her arrival to the islands, HE had stayed. . . and after all this time, he still remained.

       "you stay away from merida and her family, you hear ! they haven't done anything to you and i swear if anything happens to them, i'll kick your ass myself !" his grin infuriated her and she switched her keyblade into her left hand, taking notice of how his brow rose at the motion. as quick as she could, she stooped down to scoop up the closest rock before chucking it in his direction as hard as she could. "go away !"
