I was gonna talk about my OCs & their origins, but then I stepped back & realized that it would've been too long.
So for now, I wanna tell you guys about a new Object Show a friend of mine recommended!

RAINBOW RIOT!
Okokok so... so far, it's just (as of this post) it's just at 1 episode. But even so, this shit is some really high quality stuff dude. Tho fair warning, it's got swearing. Casual Fucks & Dumbasses. (Which is totally cool with me personally)
Like, all the characters are really charming, and there's a huuuuuge variety of personalities.
Like... Hyperdrive is a total bro. Bro. There's no better way to describe them. They're real homie, a true broski, a sis that slays. Have I said enough buzzwords?

Okay so here's the character introduction video. It give a brief rundown of the characters, their pronouns, & a little fun fact from the creators.
Okokokok so, I wanna talk about episode 1. Though to make this post not eat up your feed, I'll put it riiiiight under the cut.

THIS SHOW IS REALLY FUCKING GOOD BRO, LIKE-

So the episode starts with the hosts summoning the contestants through their portal. Y'know going through the medium. You get to see the contestants personalities for a brief moment & how they interact.
Shoutouts to Null & Hyperdrive specifically. Those two? Moirails. Best friends. I love their dynamic so much. They both just play off of each other so well, you just...
You gotta watch it to believe it man.
Okokokok then they all get split up into teams, and they have a pretty cool way of doing it. They separated the teams based on which color they closely resemble. (I.e. More purple objects like Rock Candy & Hyperdrive are team purple, Cog & Hotsauce are team Orange, Mossy & Cash Money are Green team, etc etc.)

Shoutouts to Hyperdrive & Null for still being besties, even if they're on different teams.
You do not believe how much I crave for this sort of healthy relationship in Object Shows.
Moving right along, without spoiling too much, their first challenge is to make up a team name & come up with a team logo. A fairly basic challenge, but it's such a nice & smooth way to let the showrunners introduce everyone.
I didn't take much screenshots for most of the episode, but trust me when I say this: The character interactions/moments of this show are so très magnifique.
From Hyperdrive actually being cool with another person from a different team (Cash Money).
To this entire scene between Lotus & HD
Hyper's a bit of a perfectionist when it came to this challenge, and whie Lotus (& admittedly the rest of the team) were telling them "It's already good enough". They just had a biiiit of an outburst.
Which I mean tbf, we've all had those kinds of moments before.
Then there's Hot Sauce & Cog's slow building of friendship... I think?
Cog's not used to physical contact. Give her some time, I'm sure she'll open up to the rest of her team.

So yeah! That's all I'm giving you. I really recommend watching the show for yourself. One episode in & the show is already very promising! And I'm not just saying that because I love Hyperdrive.
There's a ton of other characters I haven't shown because, as I've said, I want you guys to give this show a shot yourselves. The episode's 20 minutes, so that's just a heads up.
