The Speedster Meets The Fraud
Pietro was accustomed to intruding in on situations he probably shouldn't be getting himself into. Though true that he only did such things when he was bored, he was quite often. He was constantly butting into other people's problems, whether it was someone trying to commit murder, or just an average street-argument. Even if it put him in danger, he was always, always butting in.
Seeing a man in a suit take out an FBI badge, the mutant became curious. He knew there was such a thing as undercover cops, but even he knew they had certain equipment set up in their cars. This man didn't have any of that. All he had was a normal car and a badge. That definitely wasn't suspicious. If it weren't for his eagerness to figure out what was going on here, he probably would have left it alone and just went home. Instead, he walked right up to the man.
❝You're not a cop.❞ He stated directly to his face, snatching the badge from his hand and observing it. It looked real for sure, but he had no doubt that it was fake. The contents of his car kind'a proved that.❝I'll bet this isn't even a real badge.❞
In his lifetime, Pietro had seen many, many cops. He knew a thing or two about them, and this guy wasn't one. However, frauds were better than the real deal in some cases. He glanced to the house in front of them, before back to the other. He was eager to know why he was here of all places. The people who lived here seemed pretty normal. What was there to do? They weren't even rich.
❝So what do you want with these people? Kidnapping? Murder? Thievery?❞
