I overall really like how it came out, think it could be better in some areas, but I do really like it! I discussed in my sketchbook tour video how I didn’t include Danno or Mog in the poster, that being because they don’t do relatively anything of importance in S1. I wanted to just include lore important characters to save space, and I was already including ten so I didn’t want it to be too crowded. Similar reason for why I didn’t include Phaleur or her clone, also because it’s apart of that respect thing I have for her, where I want to respect her decision to not be involved in SW anymore so this is how I decided to do it, hopefully it’s okay ^^

I had to resist the URGE to use the S2 logo instead of the S1 logo because I’m sorry but what the hell were they thinking for this one, the red and purple are not it 😭 I ended up just using it anyway since I wanted it to be lore accurate but there was a definite thought in my mind for a while to use the S2 one instead since it’s just better visually.

since like, how did Melon go from “the redeemed clone who sacrificed himself to save everyone and is one of the main reasons why the creators won in S1” to a literal LOSER (or as I will say for the rest of this rant; a chud) in just a season? Genuinely why did RPK decide to go through with that whole “double Melon” hoax thing where they had people believe that there were two Melons just for the one in Wizzle to be fake? Literally all Melon does in S2 is steal Pear’s channel, which makes zero sense considering Melon was the only clone who WAS AGAINST taking over his original’s channel, and also use Pear’s credit card to buy stuff for Genshin Impact. Did they just throw that little sprouting friendship that Pear and Melon had down the drain? Why did he stab Pear in the back? And I may be misremembering, so do correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it implied that the Melon we see taking over Pear’s channel is the same one from S1? Since I could maybe understand the switch up a bit more if that was the case but I don’t recall the distinction ever being made. If that’s not the case, then why the hell did Melon just completely go against everything he stood for back in S1 for no reason?

and also his storyline is confusing af because Cdot saved Melon with a Pokewalker, and also we see him and Pear fly out of the computer together during ‘Endgame’. I heavily doubt Cdot just set Melon free all willy nilly. Why did they have Cdot save Melon with specifically a Pokewalker just for it to culminate in him not being inside of Wizzle? Did they forget that the Melon inside of Wizzle wasn’t the real one? If the “real Melon” was simply taking over Pear’s channel, then how could he have been seen exiting the computer with Pear if he was never put in there and there was only a decoy?

All of these plot holes could have been solved with one solution; just get rid of the chud Melon arc. Have Cdot save Melon using the Pokewalker to upload him into the computer/Wizzle, (could be for “protection/a precaution”), have Melon be trapped in the center of the region when Pear gets pushed into Wizzle by Preston, have Pear actually go on a quest to rescue Melon, (and not have it just be a wild goose chase) have Pear and Melon have a wholesome reunion before getting interrupted by Dunbun, and have Pear and Melon escape the computer together during ‘Endgame’. IT WAS THAT SIMPLE, ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS GET RID OF THAT STUPID CHUD MELON ARC AND THEY WOULD’VE HAD A WAY MORE STRAIGHT FORWARD ARC. And it also prevents any character assassination from being done, sure Melon would mainly be a “damsel in distress” but that would be way better than him becoming a CHUD and throwing away all of his beliefs 💀 it took me like 5 minutes or less to come up with that fix bro (which I may or may not be using that hypothetical writing choice for SW:RR wink wink nudge nudge)
