Barbie Fun Fact / Theory
Miranda is not a princess of royal blood
Have you ever noticed that Miranda is the only princess at graduation who wears gloves? No other princess there wore gloves, only her. There is a theory over Disney princesses that says that princesses who wear gloves are symbolized as princesses by marriage and not by birth, in the case of Cinderella, Belle, Tiana.
What if this theory is valid for Miranda as well? Maybe she is about to marry the prince of Philadelphia and has been sent to princess school by the family of her future fiancé so that she can learn to behave like a princess since she was a commoner. This may also apply to Dame Devin who also wears gloves and is only important in royalty because she married a nobleman.
Well, but in the painting of Queen Isabella with her family she is wearing gloves, Tori (The Princess and the popstar, that btw takes place in the same universe as Princess charm school) also wore gloves, and they were not princesses by marriage. Leaving the theory and entering real life, gloves are luxury and especially protective accessories, realizing that in her solo portrait Isabella does not wear gloves, but in her portrait with the family where she is already queen she is wearing gloves, this is because queens wear gloves because they are always greeting others in meetings or public events.
The same goes for Tori who wore gloves at a public event, where she was supposed to greet several people (something she didn't do lol)
