I honest to fucking god cannot process how batshit insane this man was. Imagine—just imagine—deciding to pour a jar of spiders over your head to impress a congregation. Now that, folks, is commitment.

But then it gets so much more insane because now imagine locking yourself in a closet for ten days and hallucinating so hard you think you can resurrect the dead and decide to give it a try, not by practicing on a chipmunk or the family cat, oh no, but by stabbing your wife in the fucking throat.
