it’s out of character for the ordinarily bright little minkyu moon to be so downtrodden. it feels like ages since a smile has touched his lips and he knows it has everything to do with the weight of the voicemail he’s left, burdening down on his soul. there’s an anxiety in it, knowing that even if travis listens to it, he won’t be able to respond. minkyu’s got the duration of his time left on the show to overthink his message, to come up with things he should have said or to regret the things he did say. worse still, he doesn’t know anyone he can talk to about his woes. babylon may have been an obvious option but kyu doesn’t know if it’ll trigger some jealousy or upset to hear how deeply he cares for a former contestent. travis was a friend but it was more than that, wasn’t it? for the first time since setting foot in the villa, minkyu feels properly alone. when he looks up from where he’s tucked himself away on one of the common room couches, however, he spots that he’s been joined in his misery. rowan. not sure that he’d make the best company right now, kyu doesn’t make to invite the other over, instead leaving the choice up in the air, for rowan to decide.
