All that wandering through the muggy, hot forest had left Zero in a foul mood. She heard from the fourth youngest sister that elves made home deep within the territory of her forest, and was often protected by wards of magic to keep human’s and outsiders away. The end result seemed to be worth the frustration and trial – it just had to be – male elves were considered the most beautiful men in all the land of Midgard. Being as she was one of two Intoner’s without a Disciple, the ivory witch decided that times would change and she would acquire the man she felt was perfect for her.
While such a monster happened upon luck when she encountered one of the many wards protecting what felt to be a medium sized village; surely there would be even one male among this populace? Fearlessly the Intoner’s heels carried her through and into the open, by-passing the magic completely with her Power of Song, sending all the elves nearby whom laid witness to the horrifying sight into a panic.
“ An Intoner is here! It’s one of the Intoner’s! ”
“ She just walked right through the barrier! She’ll kill us all! ”
Their panic was justified, this was not the Intoner they were familiar with; a lazy ghostly pale woman with amethyst eyes and hair, coupled with a tired or creepy expression. Instead they were rewarded with the Traitorous Intoner, the one whom had been dubbed a crazed monster and a danger. Regrettably, even if the sister’s had joined together in alliance, Zero’s reputation stood paramount – it didn’t matter. She would be respected and left alone… and if challenged? Would destroy.
“ Looks like I won’t have to look far. ” Indeed not, for in a matter of minutes the woman was surrounded by what looked to be soldier’s and guards of the town. Fearlessly her hand gripped the flowered handle of her blade, directing it towards every single face she saw with a casual turn, “ I’ll give you a fair chance and tell you to lay your weapons down before I chop your arms off instead. ”
