Hello Roundme community! It's only been a few months since IVRPA Prague where we announced that we are working on some new developments for the Roundme app. Well, today we are proud to announce the long awaited and much anticipated Android version of Roundme, available for free in the Google Play store.

Now Android users can enjoy Roundme just like iPhone users. In developing Roundme for Android, we listened to our users feedback and thoughtfully designed the app based on that feedback. The main focus of Roundme for Android is that it is intended for content creators to showcase their spaces and for visitors to explore and enjoy your beautiful content.  

So now, without further ado, here's a quick rundown of some of the coolest new features you can start using today:

For starters, Android users can enjoy a state-of-the-art interactive virtual reality experience with Google Cardboard and other HMD VR headsets including Samsung Gear VR, Zeiss VR One and Homido just to name a few.

We also incorporated social media interactivity where users can like, comment, follow and view your content feed.  

Roundme also features a motion-sensitive panorama viewer where users can hold up their mobile device and move it around in space as if they are peering through a window.  

In addition to the VR experience, Roundme for Android is completely optimized for phones and tablets. However, bear in mind that this is just the first version and that there will be new features coming very soon including offline spaces and directional sound.
