09/100 Today's painting is inspired by a portrait of @alexandria_milan_official taken by @creativesoulphoto . I took a few liberties with the likeness because I wanted to focus my energy on the backlighting catching the edges of her beautiful hair. Seriously guys, I want hair like that. It's gorgeous! ✨ I also spent some time towards the end of the painting process refinining the edges on some brushstrokes on her skintones so that the colors would blend in a way that feels natural yet painterly. I think I nailed the light! I'm really happy with how it came out! 😊 You can literally see the artistic growth with this challenge. It's crazy. Just compare the first paintings to the more recent and there is totally a difference. I can't wait to see how much I'll have level up my artistic skill by the end of this!
