WIP piece
A current WIP of a character called Zephyr. He's a wyvern and will (probably) be getting a ref sheet for artfight :) So in order we have background roughs and some very general gestural sketches. I started with the head and body then drew in the spine/line of action and did some general shapes for the background. This took abt 5 or 10 minutes. The second one is a cleaned sketch with rough colors and patterns. I re-did the legs about eight times but finally figured it out. This was about 20 or 25 minutes. The last two are the final sketches/lineart, I made it so the wings have a "hand" structure with five fingers and the main hand has three including the thumb. I added in some background details and some foreground ones in the form of leaves. I will probably make the foot on the left leg a bit smaller but am very happy with the pose.
