he had settled into a corner. corners were safer, more closed in. with his heart palpitations, he felt like he was having a bloody heart-attack. and it wasn’t stopping. anxiety. he had had it before, but not this badly. sweaty hands were fiddling with the bottom of his shirt, when poe came in, and his attention was immediately drawn to him. “ water. water, yeah, right. cheers, mate. ” staying hydrated is the furthest thing from his mind, but he accepts it anyway, cupping the glass maybe a little too tightly.
