Character development questions: 11, 12 and 13

11. In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?
When he woke up in a secured, unlit basement in an old hospital adjacent in Kazakhstan over a decade after he’d died, and the consecutive months of being forced in and out of hibernation and his body shutting down only to be awoken time and again, not understanding for what reason.
12. In what situation was your character the most calm they’ve ever been?
In more or less recent occurrences.. sleeping next to friends he can smooch off energy from. It’s an innocent enough thing but for him it can mean the difference of feeling actually refreshed in the morning, or being forced to bite down on the desire to tear into the closest person in his vicinity. Literally.
13. Is your character bothered by the sight of blood? If so, in what way?
Short story not in the slightest. But to shed some light into the matter in situations where it’s someone’s blood he actually cares about he freaks out a little, internally. What he abhors is the reminder that most people around him are mortals, or immortals with evident weakness and ability to die in numerous different ways, whilst he’s just floating through this phase of his life, unscathed. If the blood is on him and manages to dry though it’s annoying, itchy, brings back unnerving memories with more of a vicious clarity than he wishes to experience.
