Rory pushed his way through the crowd attempting to get to the stage on time, he had a baby in one arm and a massive bag in the other. He honestly felt like an old woman with her great-grandchild. “C’mon, get out of the way. I’ve got a fussy baby and no one here needs that.” As much as he hated getting noticed now days, he didn’t care. Charlie needed his mother ASAP. “Bloody hell! MOVE!” He shouted as he pushed a larger man to the side who was eating some sort of meat on a stick.
Finally, he’d pushed his way through to the front, the last person he’d shoved managed to make a gasp loud enough for him to hear. It sounded familiar, despite the whining infant he turned around smiled. “No, fu-, flipping way. Where the hell have you been?!”
She didn't know how she had ended up at one of these summer carnival concert things, but she was here, hot, and uncomfortable. Her only solace was the fact that the Doctor had gone to get her cotton candy and he'd managed to get them backstage where there were at least electric fans.
Getting roughly pushed to the side wasn't something to help her mood however, with her gasp just the start of what was going to be a long-winded rant at the stranger. But the smiling face got her off-guard, as did the baby in the man's arms. His words took a second to register, her posture relaxing as she took things in.
"Travelin', course. Would o' told ya if I'd stopped by now, but blimey-- you 'ave a baby!"
