i've been poking away at both The Bad Batch and Rebels rewatches; i started the Rebels rewatch awhile ago, and just did TBB for the Sanctuary novel

so i'm currently finishing Season 2 of TBB and getting through Season 4 of Rebels...

...and without meaning to, i've Fucked Up Bad and accidently matched up my rewatches so that i'll be watching "Plan 99" and "Jedi Night" at the same time

and if i said that this genre of ship is my blueprint

Maul belongs in animation. always. a Maul series belongs fully in animation. a super skilled lightsaber wielder with a dual blade can only be truly brought to life via good quality animation.

as Spoke does his narration the shot has been of him, Zam, Wemmbu, and Mapicc standing around where Leo had been before he stasis-ed away, and as he says "now, i had nothing left to lose." Zam and Wemmbu disappear, leaving only Mapicc and Spoke in the shot

nooooo Spoke, your other thing left to lose (your friend and/or his undying loyalty to you)

told my bosses that i'm reducing my hours (not asked, told them). and like just 1 less shift per week?

so as far as TMNT tv series go, i've got 2 down, aaand 3 to go!

i finished 2012 about a month or two ago, and i just finished 2003 last week. (i think i was subconsiously delaying it bc i didn't want it to end!!)

i'll be writing up separate review posts for them, but my intial thoughts...

2003 is my personal favourite TMNT media so far!!!!!!! and is now one of my top 10, maybe even top 5 favourite shows of all time. it was a solid, great show from start to finish. (yes i liked seasons 6 and 7 !) it's already been added to my list of comfort shows, and i anticipate many rewatches of it in my future 💚

a 2012 was a good show, but not as consistently good, imo. there were many things and characters that annoyed or bored me (Casey Jones, Bebop, most of the villians, S4 space arc) and/or i disliked how they were written (Apriltello). i'll still recommend it to any new fans, and one day, i plan to rewatch it and just enjoy the show for what is it and focus on the good stuff!

i'm doing seasons 1+2 of 1987 now, mostly for the sake of watching the Turtles Forever movie next. then onto Mutant Mayhem + Tales!

(i think i'll keep 1987 as a "poke away at" show that i'm in no rush to finish. i mean, 190+ episodes??? holy shell !!) (plus it's a great show to have when i just need something silly and funny.)
