*Note: Roots of Life, though similar to Warrior Cats, operates by a completely different system and is separate from the WC lore and world building - some practices that aren't included in ROL are aspects like the two-part connected naming system of WC, as well as the nine lives received by leaders, and a lot more. ROL is treated as a standalone RPG that just so happens to also be about cats.

Roots of Life is an RPG that offers a welcoming community, a dedicated staff team, and many, many opportunities for creativity!
To get involved with the community, you're free to headcanon together, write fics, draw art, and roleplay! Roleplaying is not required to remain in the group - it is optional, so one is free to simply make characters they like to please those with a character hoarding streak.
There are no official NPCs within the cat Colonies - every cat in a Colony has an owner, and a custom character design portrayed with art (can be made by yourself or another person who permits you to use their art). All skill levels are welcome! It's also required to have a written personality and background for your character/s.
The community is close knit and supportive of each other, always eager to share creations and have fun!
