It's a good side! The roots are all pretty mild (except for the celery root which maintains a STRONG celery flavor) and the kale/parsley pesto has a really strong fresh and bright flavor, so the two balance each other well. I would make it again if the main dish involved potatoes, so I couldn't make my own go-to vegetable roast.

Sourcing things as always was a bit of a trial, but this time I managed to find everything except for the tokyo turnips, which I substituted with peeled daikon.
