"Fuck you and all we’ve been through, it’s nothing to you. And if you hate me, hate me so good that you can let me out, cause it's hell when you're around"
This is my take on the whole "why Dean doesn't forgive Seth already". What I tried to show with this video, is that Dean has been broken, has reach his breaking point SO MANY TIMES because of Seth.
On the other side, there's Seth : we've seen him sad, vulnerable, angry, vengeful but almost never heartbroken. If you think about Seth's worst moments, it's his injury or his feud with Triple H, not moments he shared with Dean. The closest we came to see him break was Hell in a Cell 2014 when Dean almost put him through cinder-blocks or when Dean cashed in on him at Money in the Bank 2016.
But why is this important ? Because their relationship as always been based on how they balance each other. Seth's the brain, the rational one, the one with a plan, a good liar and his determination and arrogance or one of his biggest assets. Dean thinks with his heart, act on impulse, values family above anything and has trust issues. That's why they work so well together : what one lack of, the other is there to compensate.
But it's also true for the bad times : they don't operate in the same way, and that's why they can't get on the same page. Seth has always been able to get anything he set his mind to : he would go out there every night and say I'm gonna do this and then he would do it. But he can't this time : there is no plan he can set in motion to win Dean back, and he can't just go out there and say "one day you're going to forgive me" because it doesn't work like that. So he tries with everything he's got : he gets angry and says he's sorry, he let himself be vulnerable and honest, act like he cares.
But with their history, it's not enough : Dean has seen Seth be an awesome liar, has seen Seth making up fucked up plans, has seen Seth getting everything he wanted while he was left aside. So it's going to take more than that : I think it's going to take Seth being completely broken or selfless to have Dean back.
But right now, the history is still strong : it's hell for Dean to be around Seth because he remembers so well how it felt to be broken time and time again by Seth so he wants out. It's also hell for Seth because he tries with everything he have but Dean just shut him down and it's painful and his redemption will never be complete without Dean forgiving him. So there's no balance right now, and that's why it's so painful.
I'm not sure I managed to show all this in this video but that was the intention ! And I really wanted to parallels all those Dean walks out on Seth and Seth looks at him scenes
Oh and this song is one of my favorite because it's so powerful and intense and I felt like it describe perfectly their relationship since Seth's heel turn. Hope this video made you feel as many things as I intended to !
And I've reached 400 subscribers I'm so happy :D

Rootless Tree - Damien Rice
Rootless Tree - Damien Rice
“One day I realized that people are like grass, because when you walk across the grass too many times it doesn't grow back”
When you're on a train enjoying the night and the view behind the window and come across a song you've loved for dozen on years
And it goes like:
So fuck you
And all we've been through
I said leave it
There's nothing to you
And if you hate me
Than hate me so good
That you can let me out
Of this hell when you're around
And you're like
Oh..
Oh
Fuck
Right
