Ronzoe week day 7: Their last moments

“God please protect my dear Zoe.”

Ronan prayed he tried to get to the burning building as quickly as possible.

But his prayers was never answered. He was late.

Zoe was brought out of the fire with minor burns, but the amount of carbon monoxide built up had killed her.

Ronan fell to his knees at the sight of his dear wife lying cold on the grass. He burst into tears.

“Zoe... Please don’t leave me...! Please wake up!”

His screams echoed into the night, while the fire that took away the love of his life continued to burn fiercely until the building was nothing but ashes.
