He was so handsome… tall..black hair…blue eyes…

I blushed slightly as he came near to give me a hug.

“How are you today, sis?”

I get annoyed every time he calls me sis “I told you I’m not your sister”

“But you will always will be”, smiling. “So, did you finally start going job hunting?”

“Huh?” I immediately looked at him; no one knew that I left my job. “How did you...”

“Cause you come here every morning, I can see you right from my office. So I decided to call the magazine to check in and they told me you left work.”

“I…just…wasn’t…happy…”, I wanted him to hug me to make me feel like everything is ok.

“Aw, don’t pout like a sad puppy.” he gently placed his arms around my neck and pulled me towards him.  “Hey I was wondering would you mind stopping at my place to clean?”

“Why?” looking at him confused. “That’s my sister job”.

He looked to the side muttering some words but I couldn’t really understand what he said. My ability to follow moving lips is not that advanced. I agreed to stop at his place but before that is better to do some grocery shopping. Pretty sure he will return hungry so I have to think of a great dinner.

“Kaori Walsh?”

I looked to see who it was and I immediately dropped the milk which splatter all over the floor. It was my psychiatrist…

“It has been way too long since your last visit. Have you been taking your prescriptions?”

“I..umm…yes I am.”, it was a total lie. I was tired of taking those pills they just made me act like another person who was not me. I told him about the side effects of currently vivid dreams, panic attacks but he just shove it to the side. No one knew also I stopped going to see him and I am glad that he hasn’t made a move to let my parents know.

“I have been meaning to talk to your parents.”

“Why?!” shouting. I noticed everyone was looking towards us.

“Don’t worry Kaori; I just want to know how you’re doing. I will be calling them the day after tomorrow and probably doing a visit. Well right now I have to go, take care and please don’t forget to take your pills.”

As I see him walk away, thousands of thoughts are racing in my head. What if they find out the truth that I haven’t been going will they put me back inside again? I don’t want to go back…I don’t want to be apart from him…
