Currently watching Anne with an E on Netflix and honestly I really love the love story of Anne and Gilbert who were two teens who didn’t see eye to eye but then slowly fall in love and started thinking about how Romendy could have a cute love story like that. Just the two of them being all wishy washy when it comes to their feelings and both striving to find themselves in a world where certain expectations are forced on to young teen boys and girls and the difficulty of navigating through those years of life.

Personal Romendy head-canon of mine is when they both are much older and grow to like each other (like they are in the beginning stages of dating) Romeo would comfort Wendy whenever she experiences motion sickness when they both travel to different towns to do mission. Like he would be attentive and remember to bring maybe a blanket or bring some type of music player to let Wendy to listen to the sounds (even if it’s not the best distraction for her)

Would like to see Romeo and Wendy bonding over them both going through that typical teenage phase and not feeling like they are being understood at times due to the obvious age difference between both of them and them all the adult members of their guild.

When it comes Romendy’s first time ballroom dancing Romeo and Wendy are both being extremely clumsy. Wendy accidentally stepping on Romeo’s shoes immediately apologizing with every chance she gets and Romeo trying to remember how the dance should go since typically the men often lead their partners for the dance and blushing because he’s embarrassed that he isn’t as good at dancing in general. Everyone in the guild finds them to be extremely adorable (especially Lucy, Juvia, and Levy) who just try to their best to encourage both Romeo and Wendy that they are doing great at their dance and that they can help them practice.

Sometimes Romeo can be a bit to reckless whenever he fights so Wendy is often there to heal him and remind him to be more careful. Whenever Wendy finds herself in a state of just feeling out of her element Romeo will bluntly state how he believes in her abilities and that it’s okay if she’s not feeling a hundred percent on something.
