Super duper late bc my phone broke but OH. MY. GOD. I very much enjoyed this ARC read; I finished it a lot faster than other reads (go me). One of the things I enjoyed was that the apocalypse didn't become something that was just *there* sometimes, and it actually stayed relevant!! The way Blakely writes the FMC anxiety is painfully realistic and relatable to me, and It's nice to see that the MMCs struggles w/ nicotine addiction and alcoholism was actually talked about in a graceful way (which I appreciate, always). I finished The Crown last night. I thought it was a very quick and sweet read and a great ending to the series, so I give it 3,5/5 stars ☆.
