i can’t help but thinking, lukas not quite comfortable in every waystar social function. he’s genuinely awkward and have little care with all the formality of waystar. he’s rarely use suits anyway. lukas tends to move away from the crowd. roman be like, “can you fuck off and let loose?” ofc roman would notice when lukas barely talks much. they would say fuck it, one more drink and we go.

whilst lukas more comfortable in his own space with people that at least he recognized. roman doesn’t know anyone except for oskar and ebba until lukas lured him up to all his friends. roman at gojo retreat usually just in “whatever” mood and douche-y. in eps where kendall got high and rome picked him up, he thrown away ken’s meth. he told connor no more drugs in prague eps. maybe he has always aware of these things bc of kendall and limit himself (?) idk. roman also doesn’t like to be in a place where he’s not in charge with the conversation. then rome and lukas would have an argument after-party/company events. lukas be like, “can you just fucking chill for a sec?” when roman refused to vape or sumth. “why should i have fun with your dick-y friends, when you don’t even try in front of my family?”

naturally, roman is a gift giver. he loves picking gift wrapper and scrolling around weird websites just to find a perfect gift to roy sibs. on vals day, he’s having a hard time finding a gift for lukas. lukas doesn’t take much time to dress up. he doesn’t show a lot of attention to his furniture. not until roman sugests him to buy something. he also easily get bored with with new tech.

finally when roman helps him to clean some things in the attic, he saw some of lukas childhood book’s collection. mainly cartoons characters. a lot of them are winnie the pooh. roman making fun of him but then stops are his stories. dad used to read it to him a lot. those books always moving in and out from places to places. he never planned on throwing it away. he lost some of them too. one of them is the complete tales and poems of winnie the pooh. lukas told roman, part he loved the most, when mary jane was crying. he reread it after his dead’s death. or whenever he feel the need to reread on his dad’s death day annyversary.

on vals day, roman wrapped the nicest box for his first gift to lukas. he planned on to give it in his birthday, but he couldn’t help it.
