Here I had to work from home so I have more time to complete my embroidery and see it all on the garment ready before finishing my top completely. I used a needle and embroidery thread to do this and I needed to take my time and go slowly so I do not make mistakes half way through. Overall this was really fun to make and quite easy, although it takes a bit of time to work with.
Another different way I could include this sample in my final project making is by pleating patterns like this or similar by the use of embroidery. This is a very famous and popular way that Romania does and it would symbolise more with my theme I am going for if I wanted some of these specific patterns on my top. To make this, I need a white cotton material, a thick needle and thick tread to fill in the gaps more easily. Then place the fabric between the wooden circles to trap the fabric tightly so it is stable and it cannot move while the needle is going through the fabric. If it is still loose tighten the circles by the silver twister and pull the fabric a bit more out so it is fully stretched out. Then I drew the pattern I was going for so I get the right shapes in. After that, I could start embroidering once everything is secure. I think I will use this for later on as I really liked this method a lot and fits my theme perfectly when working with patterns. This sample was a very similar thing Romania used to do with the embroidery and enjoyed the process of it. Overall I will be using these samples for my project as I get further into my garment making I think this would be a good idea to include embroidery in my theme that symbolised Romania's style.
