I need someone to notice that my glasses are always dirty and I’m always too distracted to clean them and I need that person to take them right off my head when I’m not even paying enough attention to realize they’re taking them and then I need them to clean them off, probably with the edge of their shirt, and shake their head and chuckle at me for being a mess and while I’m still sitting there shocked and staring at them (or maybe staring a little to the side of them because I don’t have my glasses to help my depth perception) I’m gonna need them to check to make sure the glasses are clean and then slide them back onto my face, letting their hand linger and cup my cheek and smugly say, “That’s better, isn’t it?” and then when I reach my hand up to catch their wrist and whisper, “Much,” because I don’t know how to handle affection, I want them to brush their thumb over my cheek and smile and go make us tea while I keep working
