day 158 : new toy. put together myself. thanks mom 🖤 #rollatorlife . won’t be in this for long because arm crutches are on the way (woohoo!), but this will be a leg-saver when i’m out and about. . aiming for more and more days sans-wheelchair. feels good to leave the house walking, and honestly, being more face-to-face with folks. neck strain is a real thing for people in wheelchairs (at least it was for me). . thanks to the anonymous elder folk that i hang out with when we’re out during working hours for giving me the idea to get this thing! particularly excited about the under-the-seat bag 😛 . . . #learningtowalk #scirecovery #paralysisrecovery #spinalcordinjury
