Some pictures from Sam Meech’s preview night at the Rogue Artists’ Studios in Manchester.

Sam has created a personal exhibition that combines different aspects of production together, resulting in a thoughtful and intimate exhibition.

For me, the most fascinating aspect of his exhibition are the knitwear portraits’. The portraits’ were produced using a variety of technological methods, and the final result is a melding of traditional and modern. They also reflect that sense of intimacy that Sam developed with the workers’ of the knitwear factories (hence their faces as art).
