Rogue Reporting 🧐
Okay so, I had a couple of days to rest and now I'm back to reblogging and posting.
I want to take this opportunity to combat misinformation and critical thinking.
I think this issue also transcends the current situation too, in a world where so many things can be AI generated, it is so vital that logic and critical thinking needs to be an important skill that you rely on. Question everything you read. Think of it like consuming your favourite snack, you chew on it for a little bit and savour it, try to do the same thing with information, think about where the information is coming from, what it is saying and what you know factually.
I was thinking about this today when I was chatting with my fellow LADS girlies and they were reporting the issues with Illusio but then others were fearmongering with censorship accusations. Obviously once censorship starts creeping into media, it's a slippery slope, but this entire situation is delicate with high emotions on both sides that it's so easy to light another match and spark up more outrage again.
We've done so much good here, I don't want us to start turning on each other or have it collapse because of outrage that was engineered to divide the fandom. This is not excusing Infold either, they must be held accountable too. But I want this to come from a place of compassion and constructive feedback.
