romeo always plays matchmaker to all of his friends, siblings, cousins, even some random friend of a friend (of a friend) and he’s pretty good at figuring out who’s pining after who and going from there. HOWEVER: darcy comes to him one day asking if romeo can help him getting with this one person and he says yes as it was his job ro be the matchmaker. romeo uses the information that darcy gives him to find “the person who’s [his] juliet”. now, that should have been a dead giveaway as to who darcy fancied, but romeo is a little oblivious to subtexts like that. anyways, he tries to find the person to no avail, so one day darcy just walks straight up to romeo and kisses him straight on the lips.

these are all modern era thoughts:

• his name is alex wah and his dad owns the laundromat (the one on the banner next to jacobi’s)

• trans and uses he/they

• shakespeare & greek mythology nerd at heart (an example)

• jokes that darcy is his juliet (he even has a nickname for him, it’s lily)

• likes making little things (beaded bracelets, paper clip rings, custom stickers) for fun and giving them to friends randomly

• loves thrifting for clothes

• has envious abilities to draw, paint, crochet, and act

• pinterest girlie

• plays piano, electric guitar & bass, drums, and trumpet; in the process of learning sax (so he can serenade darcy)

• horrible at pick-up lines but matchmaker for friends

• has a squishmallow mountain taking up about half of his room and worth about his family’s entire college savings for him plus some

• favorite ice cream flavor is love potion #31 from baskin robbins

• loves classics and queer books but hates sci-fi

• has a cat named venus (and darcy has a cat named oz)

• bets with race on their friends’ love lives
