It’s #texturetuesday! More like #trippytexturetuesday. 👽 . Check out the ultra rich and creamy texture of the @drroebucks Down Under eye cream. I picked this up from @shoppersdrugmartofficial about two months ago and have been testing it out. I have mixed thoughts about this one to be honest. . What I like: It’s very hydrating and it makes my undereyes look INCREDIBLE after using. My fine lines melt away and the eye area looks very smooth. It also has a much more matte finish than any eye cream I’ve used which I like because it helps to diffuse light away without the use of shimmer or a dewy finish. . What I don’t like: SHE THICC. This is not a “pat pat pat” type of eye cream. It requires rubbing to melt into the skin. It helps if you warm up the product between your ring fingers, but if you are averse to any rubbing near your eye area, this isn’t for you. Also, the packaging lists it as a night cream, and that is because it pills like crazy if you try to layer makeup over, or give it too much friction. I absolutely wish this could be used for day because the finish and smoothing effect is incredible. . Hence why I am torn. I debated returning it, but decided I will continue to use it as a night cream. I wish the formula was workable for daytime. . Have you tried this eye cream?
