Spring is here and I'm still looking for that spring in my step. With a newer, busier school schedule and in search for a new job, my body and mind have yet to adjust. I'll just keep blaming it on the time change. Just kidding. Change is good! Really! Here are a few photos taken on a very hot spring day. I wish for more creative adventures like this soon.

Hey, tumblr. It’s been a while. Does anyone still update their tumblr? I don’t know, but, I’m here posting portraits from the last time I shot with Rod. I’m doing my first video shoot with him and a bunch of other lovely ladies tomorrow. I guess that’s what inspired me to post! The more you do, the more motivated you are to keep doing, creating, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone! It’s funny how that works, huh? I just wanna have fun!

If you really know me, you know I love New York, R&B music, and comfy clothing. This photo shoot captured all of that and some! Recently, I've felt more myself than I've ever felt before and I think it's really starting to show. So yeah...this is me.

Quick outfit pics taken by Roderick Nokin the other day. I’m wearing my favorite pair of jeans (they’re cropped and also quite comfy) along with a thrifted Ann Taylor shirt that I cut into a crop top and my Rihanna Puma suede sneakers! Putting on my favorite outfits and taking pictures with my friends is such a fun way to escape from the everyday hustle. Work and school have been kicking my ass lately, but I’m not complaining! My clothes aren’t the only things I’ve been drastically cropping. When life seems to be too much to handle, I like to reanalyze, identify all of the negative aspects (people, feelings, habits, etc.) and simply cut them out. Once I’m through “editing”, the path towards my goals is clear again, if not clearer, and I’m able to enjoy the small moments that make life rad, like the one captured in these photos.
