For my college puppetry class I’ve decided to build Noelle from Deltarune to demonstrate rod puppets! I designed her Dark World outfit to look a little more like an angel, including a halo and wings.

Her head is made out of a styrofoam ball coated in Model Magic (which I’ll have to paint and seal so it doesn’t crack), with pipe cleaner halo and antlers. Her hair is yarn and her headpiece is scrap lace. I’ll post progress pics when I finish her but her “body” is basically just a doily and table runner with a hand attached to one end. The cardboard bit under her head will act as her “shoulders,” and allow for a bit more shape.

I dug out a very old puppet at my parent’s house. I made Aglet in 2010, I think. She was a bit battered so I fixed her up, gave her a better wig arrangement and new eyelashes.
