#rococo punk

I somehow didn’t realize rocco punk was a thing.

Yamneko asked if I’d made a post about rococo punk somewhere, so I thought I might as well, since I haven’t seen this on Tumblr much.

This look takes rococo opulence and decadence to a new, modern, punk flavored level. Enormous hair and voluminous panniers, haphazardly applied face and hair powder, blush from the cheek all the way up into the temple, tattoos and piercings, flowers, feathers and pastels mixed with electric colors. Light up wigs and panniers are something I’ve seen a bit of, as well as a few looks that make reference to the guillotine and beheadings by painting a red streak on the neck or just full on using fake blood poured from the throat.
