It's apparently super common for Krita to be slow and laggy. I tried downloading it and couldn't get it to work but my tablet worked fine with every other program I tried
Actually this is the first time I’ve had any issues with it and I’ve been using it for years. It’s not so much that it’s slow and laggy - until my files start hitting around 5 GB anyway - it’s the fact it’s failing to communicate properly with my tablet drivers suddenly. This wasn’t an issue last week but it is now.
Comparing Debug files since it’s working fine on my laptop, just not my desktop. My memory and graphics card were upgraded sure, but that shouldn’t have caused an issue unless my computer is just a blackhole that snacks on drivers occasionally.
Wacom may have its issues but the products are great... usually I’ve been able to fix any hiccups I’ve had but this is a whole new game.
