Veteran Dude, his forehead wrapped in gauze as he battles a terrible migraine, feels his body tense at the sound of Dr. Rockzo's voice. He tries to maintain a tight grip on the half-empty beer can in his hand, but a sharp pain rips through his head, causing him to unsteadily drop the drink and spill it on the gravelly ground. He slowly turns around, his hazel-green eyes, obscured by his shades, widening in paranoid shock. He quickly realises that Dr. Rockzo is a clown, triggering flashbacks from a certain tragic incident…

What's this I hear about a new roommate or something? Dr. Rockzo wants to meet her!"

Veteran Dude flinches at Rockzo's sudden appearance, having not anticipated his arrival despite his heightened state of hypervigilance. His eyes carefully scrutinize Rockzo before he lets out a heavy sigh and reaches into his trench coat pocket.

"I've been drowning my sorrows in booze and drugs ever since I lost the last bits of my sanity to the war. I'd love to join you, but I'm starting to feel better! If I can overcome heartache once, I can do it again, right?" he politely declines Rockzo's offer, pulling out a bag of powdered cocaine and handing it to him, hoping it'll keep the clown out of his hair.
